Clever Academy, a Kaplan Certified Education Provider in Vietnam is recruiting for a full-time Admissions Counselor to help oversee sales and customer service for the courses and services it provides to professionals and students.

The Admissions Counselor will make sales and manage enrolments of our specialist preparation courses and our premium private tutoring service.

We are looking for a sales and customer service professional who has strong communication skills and attention to detail, as well as the traditional drive to generate sales and revenue. It is vital that the applicant has the ability to understand the ambitious education goals of our B2C customers and be able to respond to them appropriately.

Responsibilities of the Admissions Counselor will include:

  • Inbound and outbound B2C sales calls, using a prescribed needs analysis and consultative selling approach
  • Using good judgement in dealing with difficult customer service issues
  • Responding to B2C sales email and phone enquiries
  • Liaising with other key team members

Requirements for the position:

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher
  • Experience: at least 1 year
  • Graduated from an officially accredited university overseas is preferred, but optional
  • Excellent interpersonal skills (including oral, telephone, and written communications)
  • Good organisational skills
  • Comfortable in a sales and target-oriented environment
  • Staff management or supervisory experience preferred
  • Team player
  • Flexibility to work outside standard working hours as needed e.g. to attend meetings, provide emergency support etc.
  • Ability to work independently
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
