How and Where to Register for the IELTS

Clever Academy is a proud IELTS Registration Partner of British Council Vietnam.

To register, simply follow the steps below:

1. READ THE IELTS GENERAL INFORMATION

Download and read the IELTS General Information which contains important information about the test format, the question types and the test results. Please note that IELTS is not recommended for candidates under the age of 16.

2. DECIDE WHICH VERSION OF THE TEST IS RIGHT FOR YOU

There are two versions of the IELTS test: IELTS Academic and IELTS General Training

3. CHECK THE IELTS TEST DATES REGISTER

The fee for an IELTS test is 4,500,000 VND for test dates before 1 December 2016.

New IELTS test fee: the new IELTS test fee VND 4,750,000 is applicable to registrations made from 1 November 2016 for all IELTS test dates from 1 December 2016 onwards.
Special offer: The IELTS test fee will remain as VND 4,500,000 for registrations made from now for all IELTS test dates in November 2016.

There are a limited number of places for all our IELTS test sessions. To make sure you get a place, we recommend that you register two months before your chosen test date. Of course, places may be available after this date. Find out more about test dates and venues.

Please note: Your Listening, Reading and Writing test will be completed on the same day. Your Speaking test may be offered on the same day, or up to a week before or after your main test day. You will receive notification in advance if your Speaking test is on a different day to your main test day.

4. PREPARE AND SEND YOUR DOCUMENTS

Please make sure you send us ALL of the following documents when you register for your test:

Download an application form
Fill out the application form. Clever Academy staff can help you with this.
Enclose a photocopy of your National ID card/Passport (no notarization required)

5. PAY YOUR FEE AT CLEVER ACADEMY

Upon recipient of your completed application form, Clever Academy will collect your test fees on behalf of British Council Vietnam. Please pay by cash or wire transfer to Clever Academy as instructed in our instructions.

6. AFTER YOUR REGISTRATION

You will receive a confirmation receipt and the access details of Road to IELTS Academic module or Road to IELTS General Training module.

Copies of your results

If you would like your results to be sent to universities or other educational institutions, please enter the relevant addresses in the appropriate fields on the online registration form. We can issue a maximum of five copies per student.

SPECIAL ARRANGEMENTS

IELTS is designed to be a fair test and your English language ability will be assessed objectively, regardless of any special needs that you may have.

British Council Vietnam can help you with any special arrangements you require for your test. For example, British Council Vietnam offers support for people with visual impairments, hearing difficulties and dyslexia.

Please contact British Council Vietnam through Clever Academy three months in advance of your test date to find out how you can apply for special arrangements.

TEST DAY TRANSFERS

If you want to transfer to a different test date, you need to notify us at least five weeks prior to the test date you have registered for. To do this, please contact your Clever Academy representative.
